| Oakdown House is a private family owned care home, providing care for Adults with Learning Disabilities for the past 22 years.
All clients are able to access our on-site Day Service five days a week and participate in a varied social activities programme, both on and off site. |

Oakdown House is set in the beautiful Weald of Sussex, in the village of Burwash Common.
The nearest train station is Stonegate, three miles away.
Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells are 30 minutes by car.
We operate four comapany vehicles (two adapted) to enable clients to access the local community. |

| Building & grounds |
Care is provided in six separate units in four buildings, all set in five acres of grounds.
Oakdown House is a large converted victorian house. The house is split into three separate units, with varying degrees of support available.
The Ground floor is level access with facilities for those with limited mobility. The first and second floor units are for more independent clients, with good mobility.
The Bungalows are three semi-independent units for six clients.
The Pavilion is a purpose built unit for twelve clients with Profound Learning Disabilities, split into two units of six, each with facilities for people with physical disabilites. The Pavilion offers a very high level of staff support. |
